We are creating local jobs for local people in Stranraer. We will support you from our local Recruitment & Training Hub as you work from home to turn our clients’ customers problems, into happiness.

What to expect

Working on behalf of National Services Scotland (NSS), our Scotland Care Team deliver the Test and Protect helpline.

Within this role you will be responsible for completing telephone interviews of non-complex COVID-19 cases and their contacts, seeking information to support further investigation of possible sources of infection, providing advice on self-isolation or quarantine; infection control advice and signposting those called to testing or support services as appropriate.

Your role will also include:

  • Providing first class customer service
  • Ensuring all communication with our client’s customers are handled professionally and promptly
  • Recording details of customer comments on the database provided, leaving clear notes
  • Demonstrating strong product knowledge to ensure all customer queries are answered
  • Taking ownership of the customer experience, by providing excellent service across various contact channels, including phone, email, live chat or social media
  • Achieving the key targets set
  • Adhering to quality standards and ensure consistency in all interactions

  • A great communicator with strong organisational skills
  • PC literate, with good writing skills
  • Ability to build rapport & be helpful with fantastic questioning skills
