What To Expect

This is a high-impact outbound sales role focused on winning new SME business within the UK water utilities market. You’ll be speaking directly with decision-makers, uncovering cost-saving opportunities, and closing multi-utility deals.

This role is best suited to individuals who are highly target-driven, competitive, and motivated by achievement, with a strong desire to succeed in a performance-based sales environment.

Our typical shift pattern involves: 40 hours within the week. Shifts covering Monday to Friday 10:00am to 19:00pm rotational basis (SA time)

Please note. This position is based at our site in Gardens, Cape Town.

Your role will include, but isn’t limited to:

  • Relentlessly prospect SME businesses through high-volume outbound calls.
  • Sell water utility solutions, highlighting savings and service value.
  • Identify and close cross-sell opportunities across multiple utility products.
  • Build and manage a high-quality, conversion-focused pipeline.
  • Consistently exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.
  • Confidently overcome objections and close deals with decision-makers.
  • Keep up to date with UK water market trends and competitor activity.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to maximise sales performance.

About You

Our ideal candidate?

  • Minimum 24 months outbound sales experience.
  • At least 12 months B2B sales experience.
  • Utilities experience (water, energy, telecoms) is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Strong closer with excellent negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • Confident making high volumes of outbound calls daily.
  • Skilled in value-based selling and cross-selling.
  • Highly target-driven and results-focused.
  • Motivated by achievement, performance, and success.
  • Competitive, ambitious, and hungry to succeed.
  • Strong communicator with natural sales confidence.
  • Resilient and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Team player who contributes to a winning sales culture.
