Technical Engineering Advisor

We’re looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused individual who can confidently bridge the gap between engineering expertise and customer support. You’ll play a key role in providing accurate guidance on manufacturing and design-related queries, helping to deliver an efficient and seamless customer experience.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable interpreting technical information, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams to resolve technical queries and support positive customer outcomes.

Our typical shift pattern involves: 40 hours within the week, between 7 AM - 11 PM Monday to Sunday, on a rotational basis.

Please note. This position is based at our site in the Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.

Your role can include, but isn’t limited to:

• Responding to customer and partner technical inquiries on manufacturing design, specifications, tolerances, material selection, and process feasibility. 
• Providing first-line technical advisory to reduce resolution time on engineering escalations from operations teams. 
• Coordinating with the engineering team on complex or non-standard technical queries. 
• Documenting technical interactions and contributing to the knowledge base. 
• Participating in calibration sessions with the engineering team.

Full training will be provided, but we want to hear from you if you have the following skills!

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent. 
• 2–4 years in manufacturing, engineering support, or technical operations. 
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CAD outputs. 
• Working knowledge of common manufacturing processes — machining, sheet metal, injection moulding, casting, or similar. 
• Comfortable working with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or process-driven information in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
