What We’re Looking For

We are looking for seasoned Sales Trainers to join our UK Telecommunication client (Outbound Sales) to design and develop the comprehensive sales training programs to equip our sales teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their role.

The ideal candidate will have to possess a strong background in sales training, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. We will provide the industry leading training and environment that will equip you with the necessary skills, knowledge and qualitative approach to delivery, in all that you do.

All that we ask in return is that you always strive to do your best, which you immerse yourself in our client’s brand and most importantly you are always honest, open and transparent.

Our typical shift pattern involves: 40 hours within the week. Shifts covering Monday to Friday, 10am - 7pm.

Please note. This position is based at our site in Salt River, Cape Town.

As part of #theAteam, you’ll receive full training and support to be the voice of our client’s brand. So, there’s no room for average.

Your role can include, but isn’t limited to:

  • Design, develop, and deliver sales training programs for new hires and existing sales teams.
  • Conducts need assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities.
  • Deliver and maintain, training materials, including manuals, presentations and online content.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops and coaching programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to align training with business objectives.
  • training content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive proper training and are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging trainees to actively participate, ask questions, and share their knowledge and experiences.

  • Minimum of one year’s relevant supervisory experience in the outbound sales contact centre environment (preferably UK/US contact centre).
  • Previous experience in providing the effective planning, organisation and development of a team.
  • Experience in delivering individual/group coaching to improve professionalism and overall metrics.
  • Motivate, develop, coach, train, induct employees to set performance standards, recognise achievement and deal with performance issues.
  • Act as a mentor and coach the team.
  • Sales background (Inbound / Outbound).
  • Manage the quantity and quality of the team’s work.
  • Manage all team activities.
